The 12th Sai Mahotsav was held on Thursday in the Gandhi Maidan. In the morning at 9 p.m Sai Poojan was held, Maha Aarti in noon ,at 12.30 pm sai bhoj was distributed. Women and men of Chaibasa made different queue to worship and have bhoj in Gandhi Maidan, so that no devotee has to face any kind of problem in taking it. After this the huge palki sobha yatra was taken out. A large number of girls and women chanting Om Sai and walking barefoot on the journey and holding kalash on their heads. Yatra traveled through Gandhi Maidan and returned to the Gandhi Maidan, through various main square-intersections of the city. Men and women jawans were imposed on the way to avoid any problem on the way during the Palaki Yatra. Along with the devotees , Chau artists were also walking in the Palaki tour. Apart from this chau artists performed their traditional dance form sixth dance. After this time Bhajan evening was organized from 7.30 pm. In it, Ishrat Jahan from Mumbai, Shailaja ji from Delhi, Deva from Moradabad presented the song and a grand table-dance was organized by the stars of Tarun Chopra and Group Allahabad.
